“Tikvateinu”: Collaboration with Greater Miami Jewish Federation to Support Grieving Individuals and Families

In collaboration with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, we started an initiative called “Tikvateinu,” which means “our hope” in Hebrew. This initiative aims to provide comfort and hope to individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one or the anticipation of a loss.

To view the list of the current support groups that we offer to the community, please click here. Our support groups are offered at no cost to those who need the support and require RSVP. To RSVP, contact our Bereavement Hotline at (305) 351-7025 or e-mail us at info@lchaimhospice.org.

Also, as part of the “Tikvateinu” initiative, we are putting together 500+ Grief Comfort Kits. Enclosed in the kit are items intentionally chosen to help individuals navigate through their grief, whether through art, through mindfulness, through words, through affirmations, through recollecting memories, or through emotions just needing to be released. These are available for individuals and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one or anticipating a loss.

For more information on the initiative or if you are interested in sponsoring a Grief Comfort Kit, contact our team at info@lchaimhospice.org.

Purim 2024: Hospice Family Sponsors Mishloach Manot for L’Chaim Families

Last year, the Perez family had a loved one in our hospice program, and when their loved one passed, they decided to honor their loved one by giving back. They became volunteers with L’Chaim Hospice. Last Hanukkah, Ivana and her children put together gift bags for families. This Purim, they put together 50 Mishloach Manot, which will brighten the day for many of our L’Chaim families in both Broward and Dade counties.

Thank you to the Perez family for their active involvement and continued support for L’Chaim Hospice!

WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY PURIM!

If you’re interested in supporting our hospice, like the Perez family, contact our team at info@lchaimhospice.org.
